Disco
DISCO
July. 1997. The height of summer. Oasis reach number one with 'D'you Know What I Mean'. Tony Blair has just moved his stuff in to Downing Street. And 14 year old Danny Graham is trying to tell a girl named Pippa that he fancies her. It’s the last day of the summer term and in the lead-up to the school disco we follow Danny through a day of miscommunication, gossip, chinese whispers and a love triangle. As the disco draws closer, Danny must step up and tell Pippa how he feels or risk losing her forever. But will she reciprocate his feelings and what will be the consequences on his friendship with Greg?
DISCO is Luke’s follow up to Mixtape, the short film he wrote and directed in 2009 and which won the Virgin Media Shorts Awards and earned him a BAFTA nomination.
