The Towpath Cafe on the Regents Canal

 

On the Regents Canal, between Broadway Market and Islington is the Towpath Cafe. I've been meaning to go for months, even before I discovered that it belonged to 2AM director Jason Lowe and his wife, the esteemed food writer Lori De Mori. I spent a glorious hour there last Sunday morning, soaking up the sunshine, drinking a very good coffee and eating the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever tasted.
